what's your favorite song?

Hey!! It's Friday...Everyone should be winding down for the weekend, right? I don't think there is such a thing as winding down...anyway....what's your favorite song? Why do you like it so much? Has it inspired you in some way? Does it encourage you? I think my all time favorite song is Amazing Grace. Don't ask me why....it just is. Everyone knows that song. It's sung in almost every language. It comforts me when things go wrong. It excites me when I'm happy. It's just a good ol' song. If you don't have a favorite song, you should.

A world without music?

Music is a gift from God. If you have it, be thankful! Imagine a world without music...how boring it would be. If your kids want to take lessons, let them. If you want to take lessons, go do it!! Find a teacher in your area, learn how to play something. The most common instruments people start out on are the piano and guitar. Yes, it will take some practice, but you can do it!! I did it and am still practicing. Yes, I, as a teacher, still need to practice! In the BIBLE, it says, if you don't use something, you'll loose it. This holds true in every situation. So, whatever you do, do it with all your strength. For a New Year's resolution, go pick up an instrument and learn how to play it:)
